Recognising businesses that make their impact on the environment a priority and have taken action in a number of areas in this regard. These businesses ensure they operate their business successfully while being respectful to the environment.

Celebrating Business

Recognising businesses for their business achievements and aimed at encouraging business success in a number of categories and types of businesses. These are businesses that through their entrepreneurial spirit, wit and innovative capabilities have succeeded.

Business Innovation

Recognising businesses for their innovative capabilities, their ability for reinventing themselves and leading the way in doing so. Innovation is a competitive edge and this award will seek those making best use of it.

The Malta Chamber of SMEs, representing close to 7,000 businesses, is the longest-standing registered national employer representatives and recognised social partner at law. Today the organization is the largest, in terms of number of members and represents all economic sectors.

The SME Chamber has a relationship of trust with its members and many look to it for guidance. Amongst the services given to members, the SME Chamber is a one-stop-shop source of information and assistance, it guides and helps its member on funding opportunities and schemes, it is on a constant quest to facilitate their improvement and growth and it gives them the strongest voice they could have.

Malta Enterprise is the country's economic development agency, tasked with attracting new foreign direct investment as well as facilitating the growth of existing operations

In operation under various guises since the 1950s, which is almost since the beginning of Malta’s industrial development, the Corporation contains within it a great deal of accumulated experience in the field. Furthermore, it acts as an adviser to government on economic policy due to its close and constant interaction with the main economic players in the country.

Within the organization, one may find a wide variety of skills and backgrounds. This facilitates interaction with investors from all sectors, ensuring that specific requirements are understood and met.

A commemorative trophy will be given to each winner. These awards will be customised with the Malta Business Awards branding as well as indicating the title-holder.
